Performance of the agreement (use of the app):

Data: Name, email address, telephone number, age, profile photos, personal descriptions, income information, photos, and information about offered accommodations, vacation rentals, products, or services.

Purpose:This data is necessary to provide you with the application’s functionalities. This includes:

• Creating and managing your user profile.
• Displaying your profile to other users.
• Enabling chat messages between users.
• Sending notifications about likes and new messages.
• Processing payments, shipping, and buyer protection in collaboration with our partners.
• Data: IP address, session time, and click behavior.

Purpose: Analyzing the use and functionality of the application to improve and expand it. For this purpose, we use services such as Google Analytics. The information is anonymized as much as possible.

Legitimate interest:

Data: Profile photos, photos of living spaces, vacation rentals, products, and services.

Purpose: We may use these photos for promotional purposes, such as social media posts and newsletters. We will never combine these photos with other personal data such as your name, email address, or telephone number.

Consent:

Data: Email address.

Purpose: We may inform you by email and/or notifications about news and offers that may be of interest to you, including messages from our partners. You always have the right to unsubscribe from these messages via a link in the email or through the settings in the app.

Data: Personal data collected through social media and advertising services.

Purpose: We use platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X for targeted advertising.

2. With whom do we share your personal data?

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Your data is only shared when necessary for the execution of the agreement, to comply with a legal obligation, or with your explicit consent. We work with the following partners:

Payments: We use Stripe, iDEAL, Google Pay, and Apple to process payments. Your payment information is shared directly with them to process transactions securely.

E-commerce: We use WooCommerce for our webshop functionality.

Buyer Protection: We partner with E-Trusted for buyer protection and dispute resolution. For this purpose, we share essential information about the transaction and the parties involved with them.

Shipping: We collaborate with DPD, DHL, UPS, and Mondial Relay to ship products. Your address information is shared with these parties to arrange delivery.

Marketing and analysis: For usage analysis and advertising display, we collaborate with Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. We may also collaborate with affiliate partners, who may be granted access to anonymized data to measure the performance of their services.

Other users: Your profile information and photos of your listing are shared with other users of the Flickmyhouse app to enable the use of the service.

3. Liability and insurance for travel, services, and events

It is important to note that Flickmyhouse itself does not offer insurance for travel, services, or events booked through the app. Responsibility for providing the booking and any associated insurance lies solely with the partners offering the listing.

We recommend that you consult the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these partners to understand how they handle your data and what guarantees or insurance they offer. Flickmyhouse cannot be held liable for any damages or disputes arising from these reservations.

4. How do we secure your personal data?

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. This includes secure servers and encrypted connections. These measures guarantee an appropriate level of security, taking into account the state of the art.

5. How long do we retain your personal data?

We retain your personal data for 540 days and no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. When you delete your account, we will erase or anonymize your personal data, to the extent legally permitted.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:

• Right to access: You have the right to request an overview of the personal data we process about you.

• Right to rectification: You have the right to have your data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete. You can often do this yourself in your profile settings.
